Join us for a live webinar with Inclusive Leaders Group and speaker's Charlotte Hughes MS, CDP, SHRBP, CPLP, and Ebony Berry discussing Inclusive Workplace Wellness to Improve Health Equity.  

Workplaces that recognize employee health and well-being as an opportunity to model inclusion and belonging are rewarded with employees that are more inclusive, engaged, collaborative, and productive. This session examines how companies can advance their multicultural competency and inclusive environments within well-being best practices. Leaders will begin to develop knowledge, awareness, and skills delivering best-in-class well-being programs that are equitable and culturally appropriate. The session will include defining multicultural competency and cultural sensitivity as well as developing program initiatives focused on inclusion and well-being to address differences in organizations related to race, ethnicity, class, gender, age, country of origin, culture, politics, religion, language, sexual orientation, physical and cognitive abilities. Leaders will:

  • Stay current by assessing multicultural sensitivity and the inclusiveness of their environments within well-being best practices.
  • Recognize key capabilities needed to optimize well-being programs to be equitable and culturally appropriate.
  • Reflect on opportunities to enhance services and improve the impact of wellness practitioners, organizations, hospital systems, clients, and vendors. Full Course Objectives: Define multicultural competency, cultural sensitivity, and humility. Foster inclusiveness to advance multicultural competency within well-being best practices and service delivery. Integrate diversity and multicultural competency within the operations and programmatic structure. Establish a value-driven organizational culture. Develop program initiatives focused on diversity and well-being to address differences with organizations related to race, ethnicity, class, gender, age, country of origin, culture, politics, religion, language, sexual orientation, physical and cognitive abilities. Identify ways to thrive in underserved communities and minimize healthcare disparities. Support wellness practitioners and stakeholders in broadening organizational perspectives. Address, apply and evaluate multicultural competencies in the workplace.
