The First Coast Worksite Wellness Council, Inc. is an initiative of Healthy Jacksonville 2020. The mission of the Council is to improve the health of the First Coast community by sharing resources and providing guidance through our member businesses.
The FCWWC was established in 2008 as a community workgroup lead by a partnership between the Florida Department of Health in Duval County and the City of Jacksonville Mayor's Council on Fitness and Wellbeing. This group was charged with impacting community health through the business community and to create a platform for local businesses to be recognized for excellence in worksite wellness. In 2009, the group held it's 1st local worsite wellness conference and formalized the partnership into a fully functional 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
With effective management of employee health and wellness programs, corporations have successfully slowed the rise of their health care costs. These organizations are working with resources from medical carriers, insurance providers, brokers, community partners, and wellness vendors. Employees in these organizations are maintaining and improving their health and wellbeing, positively impacting the company’s bottom line. FCWWC is your community leader in worksite wellness on the First Coast. Join us to learn more!
"I have attended conferences of this type across the country and have never seen so many CEOs in attendance. Not to mention receiving awards - even your mayor!"

"I joined the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council to broaden my understanding of what it takes to run an employee wellness program. I am grateful to FCWWC for its diverse programs, which give me a better base from which to serve my corporate clients."
